Loki Clan Wolf Refuge : Loki Clan Wolf Refuge is a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing and providing permanent sanctuary to wolves and wolf-dogs. The refuge is funded by small grants and donations, including the hard work of special people who volunteer their time to make sure these beautiful animals have a well kept home for many years to come. There are more than 20 enclosures to maintain, most of which are at least an acre in size. Loki was founded by Fred Keating and his love for these animals 17 years ago. This is the last stop for these magnificent animals...a place where they can live the rest of their days in peace. Moose : Moose are found in many parts of Maine and New Hampshire. These roadside attractions are not the easiest thing to find but you are in for a treat when you do. Often found at dawn or dusk along the sides of roads or bogs they can also be a hazard. Approach them with caution as they will charge you.
